AskBirble (For Learners)

Birbles are the teachers, instructors or experts that you see on the AskBirble app. As a learner or student, you can interact with these Birbles by using the AskBirble app.
Birble is the app used by teachers, instructors or experts to set up their profiles, provide appointment booking slots, accept or reject appointment requests, communicate with the learners and upload original content. If you are a teacher, instructor or expert, you should download Birble and use it to communicate with the learners.

AskBirble is the app used by learners to send appointment requests and communicate with the instructors as well as purchase original content uploaded by instructors. If you’re a learner or student, you should download AskBirble and use it to communicate with the instructors.
Just type the name of the Birble in the search box and click on FIND BIRBLES.
Just type the name of the subject or topic in the search box and click on FIND BIRBLES.
Enter the name of the subject or topic in the search box and click on FIND CONTENT. The content will be in the form of video and audio files and PDF documents.
Go to the Birble’s profile and click on the CONTENT tab. You will see a list of all the content uploaded by the Birble in chronological order.
You can select a Birble for personal interaction based on the information available on the Birble’s public profile – the number of appointments completed and the ratings given by learners for the same, the kinds of questions previously answered by the Birble, response time for appointment requests, the individual billing rates for communication, etc.
Click on the REQUEST APPOINTMENT button at the bottom of the Birble’s profile. On the next screen, follow the step-by-step procedure as given below –

Step 1 : Choose communication mode (Video Call, Voice Call, Live Chat or Offline Chat)

Step 2 : Select Appointment Date & Time

Step 3 : Enter your question in the text box (Do not enter your name or any personal information here, as this section is publicly visible on the Birble’s profile)

Step 4 : Attach question image (optional)

Step 5 : Provide extra information (optional)

Finally, click on SUBMIT to send your request to the Birble.
Depending on the balance amount in your AskBirble wallet, you can send a request for a Video Call, Voice Call, Live Chat or an Offline Message. You will also be able to see the maximum call duration that you can have depending on your balance amount. As soon as a Birble accepts your appointment request, your AskBirble wallet is debited for the total cost of the appointment. Note that you are not charged for requesting an appointment. You are charged for the appointment only after the Birble accepts your appointment request.
Go to the My Library section in the Menu. You will see a list of all video, audio or PDF files that you have purchased.
Go to the Appointments History section in the Menu. You will see a list of all video & voice calls, live chats or offline messages that you have completed.
As a new user, you get a free credit of Rs.50 in your AskBirble wallet. You can use this amount to communicate with Birbles. You can check the balance amount and recharge your AskBirble wallet by going to the WALLET section of the Menu. The minimum amount for recharge is just Rupee 1 (yes, you read that right!). There is no maximum limit for the amount and the number of recharges you can do.
There may be a situation where you require a refund to your wallet. For this, you can send us an email on support@birble.app, describing the problem and the need for a refund. The genuineness and reasonableness of your request for the refund will be assessed by our team and in case of successful claim, we will initiate the refund within 30 days of our decision. In case of successful claim, you will receive the net amount which was payable to the Instructor, and will not include service charges, if any. Note that we will not be able to transfer any amount to your bank account. All refunds will be sent to your AskBirble wallet only. Please read our Terms & Conditions for more information.

Birble (For Instructors)

Birbles are the teachers, instructors or experts that you see on the Birble app. As a teacher, you interact with the students through your account on the Birble app.
Birble is the app used by teachers, instructors or experts to set up their profiles, provide appointment booking slots, accept or reject appointment requests, communicate with the learners and upload original content. If you are a teacher, instructor or expert, you should download Birble and use it to communicate with the learners.

AskBirble is the app used by learners to send appointment requests and communicate with the instructors as well as purchase original content uploaded by instructors. If you’re a learner or student, you should download AskBirble and use it to communicate with the instructors.
There is absolutely no fee or charge to display your profile on Birble. We only take a 10% commission from whatever you earn on Birble. Your earnings could be from answering students’ queries via appointments or through selling original content. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for more information regarding payments.
You don’t require knowledge of specific subjects or topics to be able to teach or answer students’ queries. You can share your knowledge or expertise on any subject or topic of your choice. However, instructors for academic subjects or topics asked in school and college level exams are the most sought after on Birble. We also have a large number of Birbles who share their expertise in competitive exams and English communication.
We don’t require specific qualifications or certifications from Birbles. We have many Birbles who are currently pursuing their graduation and also have a few Birbles with advanced degrees and certifications.

You can mention your degrees or certifications in the profile section of Birble. This may help you to get more appointment requests from students.
There is no minimum or maximum daily time limit for your presence on Birble. You can spend as little as 1 minute and as many as 24 hours per day on the app!

We do suggest you actively respond to appointment requests by confirming, declining or reviewing them. This is because your last active day on the Birble app as well as the average time you take to respond to appointment requests is displayed on your public profile.

Please click on the SCHEDULE tab of the My Account section in the Menu. Here you can provide your time slots for the next 14 days. You should provide a time slot for at least 1 day so that learners can send appointment requests to you for that particular day.
You can fix your own per-minute billing rates for appointments. The rates for all four types of communication – video calls, voice calls, live chat and offline messages – can be mentioned separately in your profile.

Please go the WALLET tab of the My Account section in the Menu. You can specify your billing rates for all four types of communication here. You may even enable or disable specific communication modes as per your convenience.
You may upload and sell original content in the form of video or audio files as well as PDF documents. Note that the uploaded content should be your original creation and it should strictly comply with our Terms & Conditions.
Please click on the MY CONTENT section in the Menu to see all your uploaded content. To upload new files, click on ADD NEW CONTENT at the bottom of the same page.
That’s for you to decide! You can specify a selling price for each content file when you upload it on Birble. You may even provide the content completely free of cost.
Please click on the EARNINGS section in the Menu to see the money you have earned by taking appointments and selling content. Note that earnings for a particular month will be credited to your account by the end of the following month. The amount credited to your account will be after deducting the company’s 10% commission on your earnings and all applicable taxes, if any. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for more information regarding payments.
